Little Lorelai : A Grinter Farms Sunflower Session

With the beautiful golden blooms as our backdrop, Lorelai and her little stuffed lamb spent a morning running about the Sunflower field at Grinter Farms. Sunflower season in Lawrence is always a favorite time of year for me, so I was thrilled that I had such a cute little model to work with!

For those who are curious as to how a session with little ones in a sunflower field work: my approach becomes very lifestyle, as most of my family portrait sessions are. Little ones want to enjoy the outdoors and play with what interests them. I allow lots of time in my schedule to take breaks and to step back and let them play.
