Things To Consider When Choosing Your Wedding Venue

When it comes to deciding the venue of your wedding, it may seem like there is an overwhelming pool of options out there. Not to fear, though! There are a few factors that can quickly help with narrowing down your options and save you time when looking for the venue for your wedding day.
1.) What style are you going for?
From barns to ballrooms, every venue offers the beginning canvas of which you create the feel and style of your wedding day. Are you looking for rustic and chic? Or maybe elegant with a city scape? Deciding first on your wedding style with begin narrowing down your venue options.
2.) How long is your guest list?
This is an obvious one, but very important. If you desire an intimate wedding with just a few close friends and family, plan your venue accordingly. The same goes if you plan to celebrate with your extended circle of friends.
3.) Are you getting ready there?
Ask about spaces available in the venue that serve as the getting ready rooms. As a wedding photographer, the number one feature that I strongly recommend when it comes to your getting ready pictures, is that you choose a room with large windows and lots of light!
I hope this helps you as you decide on your Wedding venue! Of course there are many other things to consider, but starting with answering these 3 questions, your options are brought closer to your overall vision of the day.
Happy planning!
