8 great tips when preparing for your Senior Session
It's that time of year again. School is back in session! And if you are part of the new Senior class, you will probably find yourself with a to-do list to get through before Graduation Day. And most likely "Senior Portraits" are on that list.

Although Senior Portraits are something that should definitely have a little prep time involved, there is no need to stress. Having this milestone in your life documented should be FUN!
Finding your photographer is the first step. And then brainstorming through ideas and locations with your photographer comes next. As you begin putting together your wardrobe for the session, here are a few things to keep in mind if you want timeless portraits that are still fresh and stylish years from now.
Avoid pieces with a large logo or brand name across it.
Busy prints can be distracting. The focus is YOU!
Pay attention to your footwear! Some shots will include your feet.
Have fun with classic accessories. Hats and scarves are a great option.
A neutral belt can cinch a flow dress or top that could otherwise look bulky on camera.
Think layers. Being able to quickly add or remove an item can give you a whole new look, resulting in a wider variety of images. Light jackets can be a quick addition.
If you plan to wear sleeveless tops, be aware of straps. Securing them in place will keep your images tidy.
Don't forget your nails!
And above all, make sure your unique and beautiful personality shines through!
