I had only been back home in the States for a month. But the homesickness I was feeling for South Africa and everyone I had left behind there was very overwhelming. One evening, in the midst of this horrible feeling, I looked down and saw a flier advertising one of the greatest Acapella groups to come out of South Africa, and they were performing right here in the town I was in!

It was a magical night of music, and being allowed the opportunity to photograph the whole event made me feel like I was back in my African home for a moment.
